The University of Hong Kong (HKU) will hold the HKU Innovation Week 2025 Exhibition on 14 October. Innovation Week is an inaugural university-wide event celebrating groundbreaking innovation and entrepreneurship. This year’s theme, “Dreams Unbounded: From Ideas to Global Solutions”, highlights HKU's commitment to transforming visionary ideas into impactful real-world solutions, positioning Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology hub.
Prof. Xiang Zhang, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKU, will share the university's significant role in nurturing talent and fostering the development of an interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation ecosystem. Mr. Peter Wong, Council Chairman of HKU; Ms. Lillian Cheong, Under Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, HKSAR; Ms. Clara Chan, Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong Investment Corporation; and Prof. Max Shen, Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) of HKU, will officiate the ceremony.
This event will showcase over 40 game-changing innovations, including the launch of Hong Kong’s first Dental Incubation Programme and explore the future of dental technology.
