As the University of Hong Kong (HKU) approaches its 115th anniversary, HKU is pleased to announce the official opening of the HKU History Gallery on 28 October, located on the University’s Centennial campus.
The Gallery features both digital and physical exhibition zones, showcasing a diverse collection of historical photographs, artifacts, and archives. Through these exhibits, visitors — from staff and students, alumni, to members of the public — will embark on a captivating exploration of HKU’s century-long legacy of excellence.
The opening ceremony will be attended by distinguished guests, including Dr Peter Wong, Chairman of HKU Council; Professor Xiang Zhang, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKU; Dr Colin Lam Ko-yin, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Henderson Land Development Company and benefactor of the Gallery; and Ms Flora Ng, Chief Information Officer & University Librarian of HKU
